Soochow University, School of Medicine, College of Pharmaceutical Sciences (CPS) invites applications for multiple Full/Associate Professor faculty positions at the Center for Clinical Mass Spectrometry (CCMS).

Successful candidates will work at the CCMS and the Chief Scientist of the Suzhou Institute of Clinical Pharmacology, conducting independent research in alignment with the mission of CCMS and CPS. Research topics are diverse, including protein/RNA glycosylation in cancer, neurodegenerative diseases, and other diseases. CCMS has established extensive partnerships with clinicians in more than 10 nationwide hospitals and biopharmaceutical companies in Suzhou Industrial Park.

Requirements

Applicants should have experience in synthesizing inorganic/organic molecules, antibodies/ADCs, or drugs and vaccines. Knowledge or experience in proteomics, glycoproteomics, glycomics, RNA, mass spectrometry, or gas or liquid chromatography is preferred. Successful candidates will be expected to establish, maintain, and guide externally funded research programs within the College of Pharmaceutical Sciences (CPS). Successful applicants will provide mass-spectrometry-related research services to other principal investigators (PIs) in academia or industry. Applicants must have excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as good interpersonal and organizational skills.

Applicants should have a Ph.D. in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Biology, and at least 1-2 years of postdoctoral training in an academic research laboratory, depending on the position applied for.
