Environmental Chemist – ICP-MS

Calling all scientists interested in protecting the environment. Fantastic opportunity to lead the efforts of a team of environmental chemists working with the US EPA!
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage a team of scientists supporting EPA Region 3 Programs
- Perform laboratory analysis of soil, water, air, waste, and tissue samples via ICP-MS, ICP-OES, and related techniques
- Ensure compliance with technical, quality assurance, and health & safety requirements
- Deliver technical presentations to EPA clients occasionally required
Primary Qualifications
- Minimum of a BS in Chemistry or related science
- Knowledge of CLP SOW, SW-846, and other EPA methods
- Recent experience with analytical method development for environmental samples via ICP-MS and/or ICP-OES
- Experience with IC, TOC, or flow injection analysis is a plus
Salary / Benefits
- $60-85K annual base salary (or MORE!) for qualified candidates
- Health Insurance / PTO
