The School of Advanced Computing at Ashoka University invites applications for full-time faculty positions at all ranks (tenure-track or tenured) in traditional and interdisciplinary fields of Computer Science, AI & Data Science.
Some of the thrust areas of the School of Advanced Computing are - AI and Machine Intelligence, Data and AI Driven Multi-disciplinary Convergence, Data Science and Applications, Security, Privacy, and Cryptography, Human–Computer Interaction & Ambient Computing, Quantum Computing, Neuromorphic & BioInspired Computing, Distributed, Cloud, and Edge Computing, HighPerformance & Exascale Computing, Algorithms and Programming Languages. And the University seeks applicants working in all these areas.
The unique positioning of The School of Advanced Computing at Ashoka, supported by an accomplished faculty and growing specialized programs, offers a diverse set of opportunities in interdisciplinary areas like health data and epidemiology; molecular and systems biology; drug design; quantum computing and cryptography; digitalization and society; privacy, ethics and law; trustworthy AI; economic modeling; social networks and social media; elections technology, campaigning and political data; data science and AI for public good.
The School also houses the Center for Data, Learning and Decision Sciences, the Center for Data Science and Analytics, the Centre for Digitalisation, AI and Society, the Koita Center for Digital Health, and the Mphasis Laboratory for Machine Learning and Computational Thinking.
Requirements
Academics, practitioners, and researchers specializing especially in the area of algorithms and theoretical computer science, machine learning, computer vision, large language models and natural language processing, data science, cryptography, security and privacy, computer architecture, programming languages, distributed and cloud systems are encouraged to apply. The School also invites established senior researchers to become engaged as regular, non-resident or visiting faculty.

3) statement of teaching philosophy
4) statement on ongoing and planned research
5) two samples of academic writing (article length), and
