Company History
It was in the Ether Dome of MGH in 1846 that a dentist, W.T.G. Morton performed athe first successful public demonstration of the administraion of inhaled ether to produce insensibility to pain during surgery.
Research into the molecular and systemic mechanisms of general anesthetics has been an area of research in DACCPM since the 1970s.
